Giving

Christian Stewardship is the responsible use of our individual talents and gifts.  At St. Ann’s, we use these gifts to serve our community through an active Outreach Program and the preservation of this historic property for the enjoyment of all who worship and seek peace within.   Each of these activities is sustained through the generosity of friends and visitors.  Please consider how you can support St. Ann’s and the larger community from your own bounty.

Annual Giving Program
All who worship at St. Ann’s are invited to support the church through an annual gift.  These gifts are the primary source of funds for the balance is derived from loose plate offerings on Sunday mornings.  Since the Annual Giving Program began seven years ago, we have been able to move steadily towards our goal of closing the gap between funds raised and actual expenses.  Your annual gift is greatly appreciated and aids our Vestry in planning.

Preservation Endowment
St. Ann’s recently completed a $1.5 million capital campaign to restore the stone chapel and rectory.  However, life on the seacoast is rugged and there is significant maintenance and repair work that is required each year.  Your gift to the Preservation Endowment will ensure that these repairs are completed on a regular basis so that this unique property can be enjoyed by future generations in the years to come.

Planned Giving
Planning for the future will enable St. Ann’s to protect the recent investment made in the restoration of the chapel and grounds and ensure their enjoyment for years to come.  Please consider a gift through your estate plan that will provide support in the years ahead for St. Ann’s.

Flowers, Gardens, Benches, and Other Memorial Gifts
The altar flowers each Sunday, as well as the beautiful gardens are made possible through Memorial Gifts and Gifts of Thanksgiving.  Those remembered or honored by such gifts are recognized in the Sunday prayers.  The benches in the outdoor chapel are also made possible through Memorial Gifts.

Wish List
There are many gifts that would enhance the beauty of St. Ann’s or enable more efficient operation that can not be accommodated within our current budget.  This is a wonderful opportunity to make a special contribution in honor of a loved one, to commemorate a special occasion, or simply for the joy of giving.
